Last minute invitation cards
Hi there, this is Felicitas with another tutorial. Today I want to show you a quick and easy way to create last minute cards with super cute masking tape shapes. Let’s start:
Supplies:
- Washi Tape #3
- Hambly paper strips
- kraft cardstock, tiny type stamps, twine glitter glue and your favorite shape punches.
Cut the cardstock into a handy size (I used the business card size) and stamp your headline on it.
Cut or punch out some matching paper stripes and glue it on your cards. I punched mine with some border punches to create an interesting edge.
Grab a some scraps and put on a stripe of Hamblys masking tape. Make sure that you DON’T press it to hard on the cardstock. Punch out some shapes, I did some stars in different sizes.
Now here comes the tricky part: Try really carefully to remove the masking tape from the cardstock. If you get it off take some tweezers or a paper piercer, that might be helpful. The result is a super cute masking tape shape which you can easily incorporate in your project.
Back to the card: Punch out some holes on the left and right side of your card. This will give some grip to the twine which will embellish your card.
This is it: your last minute invitation or greeting cards with some super cute masking tape stars.
Do you see all the sparkly shiny stars? I love to have some glitter effects on my projects!
Thanks for visiting the Hambly blog today...have a creative day ;) Felicitas
I so LOve these awesome work felicitas!

I really like the idea and the design but I am not sure I am following completely...Is there a small card inside that is the invitation or does the card itself need more writing on it for it tom be complete? Thanks.
