Journaling on Washi Tape Kim from down under again, to share with you a new journaling tip for your scrapbooking layouts. How about journaling on your Washi tapes! Here’s how. Step 1 Type out your journaling and then print onto some scrap paper being sure to leave enough space between each line to allow for the wideness of your tape.
Step 2 Rip off lengths of your Washi tape and press down flat onto your paper. Don’t worry, the tape will easily lift off later. Be sure to press the ends down carefully so they do not get caught in your printer. Now run the paper back through the printer and it will print onto your Washi tape.
Step 3 Allow the ink to dry thoroughly before using on your project. I left it about half an hour just to be sure.
STEP 4 Now go ahead and complete your layout and then add your Washi tape journaling strips where desired. It easily peels off the scrap paper and sticks to your layout.
Hope you have fun with this new journaling technique.
