Here's Becky!
Making a mini-gift bag using overlays and stickers or rub-ons is really fun and surprisingly easy! I have photographed each of the steps for you to follow and with a little patience, a scoring tool and some clear double sided tape you can have one of these cuties made in no time.
Start by cutting an overlay of your choice at 9 ½” wide by 6 ½” tall. Then using a scoring board or the scoring blade on your trimmer score 1 ½” from the left edge, 3” from that, 1 ½” from that, 3” from that and the last score is ½” from the right edge
Fold the overlay along each of the score lines,Trim the bottom score lines into flaps
Adhere the side flap closed and then the bottom flaps as well with clear dry adhesive.
When you are done you can add stickers or other embellishments. If you want to adhere rub-ons, do those after you score the overlay but before you assemble the bag.
Punch some holes in the top and run some cute ribbon through or you could use twine, yarn or other fun textures for the handles. I used my Tiny Attacher to staple the ribbon on, but you could tie knots on the inside of the bag or tie bows if you like.
Now it is ready for your fabulous smaller gifts, like jewelry, fine chocolate, gift cards or other exciting prezzies! I recommend using some fun tissue paper if the gift is meant to be a surprise :o)
What a fabulous gift bag idea. Love it!
