Today, I will teach you how to make this awesome overlay pumpkin for your Thanksgiving tablescape!

Materials: 12x12 Hambly Overlay, scrap piece of patterned paper, Hambly Woodgrain Alphabet clear stickers, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Curio Knobs, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Crop-a-dial, seam binding, washi tapes, mini clothespins or binder clips, ruler, paper cutter, flameless tealight candle, brad, adhesive

Step 1: Cut 7, 1” x 12” strips of Hambly Overlay, create stack, and punch hole through the center and sides, using mini clothespins of binder clips to secure stack.

Step 2: Insert brad into center hole. Arrange the strips in a circle and apply adhesive to the ends. Decorate the tealight with various washi tapes. 

Step 3: Place tealight on top of the brad adhering with a glue dot. Starting with the 1st strip on the top, bring the ends together. Continue with each strip thereafter.

Step 4: When all but one strip has been secured, take the thumbscrew and insert from the inside of the pumpkin ensuring that the male end of the screw is exposed at the top. You may need to punch another hole before you’re able to complete this step.

Step 5: Add the last two ends and screw on the knob.

Note: This is how it should look after you’ve screwed on the knob!

Step 6: To create the knob treatment or “the stem” on the pumpkin, take a shoebox or plastic bin, trimmed seam binding, and glimmer mist.

Step 7: Spray seam binding several times.

Step 8: Ball up the seam binding, absorbing the rest of the glimmer mist at the same time, and allow to dry.

Step 9: To create the monogram tag, gather the scrap paper, Woodgrain Alphabet clear stickers, washi tape, and scissors.

Step 10: Cut tag from scrap paper, apply strip of washi tape, and punch hole at the top.

Step 11: Now you can add a monogram sticker to the corner.

Step 12: Take the dyed seam binding, tie a bow around the knob, and thread the tag through one of the ribbon ends. Trim excess.

Before your guests arrive, you can easily manipulate the overlay strips to turn on the tealight before adding it to your tablescape!
