Here's a new tutorial from Denise {Laborde} on our design team.
Mini in Minutes :
Supplies:
Climbing Vines (Antique White) Overylay
Old Lace (Antique White on Lagoon Blue Metallic) Paper
Elephants In A Row (Teal Blue Ink on Lagoon Blue Metallic) Paper
Woodgrain (Antique White Ink on Kraft) Paper
Mini Graph (White Ink on Kraft Textured) Paper
Doilies (Teal Blue) Rub-ons
Baby Boy Clear Sticker Sheet Manilla Tag
White Cardstock
Black pen
2 Small eyelets
30 cm ribbon
Black StazOn
Felt Heart
Thickers
3 4"x4" photos
Cut a 5"x10" rectangle from each patterned paper and the overlay (total of five rectangles.) Cut three 4"x4" squares using white cardstock.
Glue two 5"x10" rectangles to each other back to back. Fold in half. Repeat with two remaining patterned paper 5"x10" rectangles. Fold 5"x10" overlay in half. These will be album cover and inner pages.
Create journaling squares:
Using a pencil and ruler draw titles and borders on the three 4"x4" white cardstock squares. Using black pen trace over drawing. Erase pencil marks. Cut and attach rub-ons and clear stickers to fit into borders. The white space is the journaling area.
Use the crop-a-dile to punch small hole through the top and bottom of the fold of three 5"x10" rectangles. Attach eyelets on the holes of the rectangle which will be the cover. Thread ribbon through the holes and tie knot on the outside.
Stamp with black StazOn on the cover. Attach felt heart. Add alphabet to heart. Write message on kraft tag. Attach to back cover.
Attach photos and journaling squares to inner pages. Voila! You're done.
All that is left to do is journal. Note that I left the journaling spots blank to offer the mini to friends so they can write their memories from the day their son was born.
what a fantastic and beautiful mini!
