A few things about me then!
*I grew up in the farmland of Kansas but live in the fabulous city of London. I moved to England as a student almost twelve years ago and I forgot to leave at the end of my studies.
*At various points in my life, I have quite seriously studied musical theatre, aerospace engineering, feminist literature and Icelandic. Somehow that all makes perfect sense to me.
*Despite all those subjects, my full-time job is scrapbooking. I teach online scrapbooking classes at shimelle.com, including Journal your Christmas.
*I'm a Garden Girl at Two Peas in a Bucket, design for Jenni Bowlin Studio and Banana Frog (a UK stamp company), edited the Scrapbook Inspirations Idea Book series and was the commissioning editor of the magazine, and I was named one of the Most Influential Scrapbookers of 2010 by Ella Publishing.
*I'm married to The Boy, who is British, brainy and willing to wear silly costumes to birthday parties.
*We don't own a car or a television, but somehow we can still quote pretty much every episode of The Big Bang Theory ever created. (Bazinga.)
*I find almost impossible to create a scrapbook page without at least one butterfly. It's a serious malady at times.
*I will never, ever tire of Hambly woodgrain and doilies. True story. <3
