- Some Hambly papers , I used Doily Decor and Wood Grain Remix
- Lace Borders
- Washi Tape #2
- Jar, Mod Podge, twine, brush and scissors
Cut some paper stripes and spray a little bit of water on it. This will make your paper more flexible. Take a thin coat of glue on the inside of the jar and let it dry a few seconds. The glue should be really sticky (not wet) when you start getting your stripes on it. After you finished getting the stripes in the jar you should cover the inside with a coat of Mode Podge. This will protect your papers.
Cut two stripes of a matching patterned paper and sew both stripes together.
Fold this papers in half and cut it with some scissors as shown on the photo.
Cover the edge of the jar with masking tape to get a nice looking ending. Then glue the second paper piece on the top of the jar.
Embellish your home decor project with some twine. I also put some matching Hambly Rub-ons on the bottom edge. Last Step: grab a tee light and put it into the jar or on the top of it.
Hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial and thanks for visiting the Hambly blog today! xoxo Felicitas
