Hello, it's Larissa here to show you how to create a fun colored border using Hambly screenprints/overlays strips.
Materials needed:
Scissors
Glue
Multiple patterns/colors of Hambly Screenprints Papers/Overlays
Double-sided tape
Watercolors
Brush
White cardstock
Buttons
Twine
Hambly Rub ons
Step 1. Trim various strips of paper from multiple widths - totally random cuts.
Step 2- Adhere them to the border. You can leave long tails.
Step 3 - Cut away the excess.
Step 4 - You can also prepare some watercolor paint splats.
Step 5 - Cut them and add to your layout as super fun cut outs.
Step 6 - Add Hambly rub ons
Step 7 - Finish up by outlining the borders. If you wanna add some 3-D effects to your overlays/transparencies and turn them into cool embellishments all you have to do is heat them up with a heat gun. As you see in the picture. To get this effect, I cut out the butterflies form Hambly´s overlay and picked it up with my tweezers. While they were hot, I shaped them just to turn the wings up a little
That's it! Hope you've enjoyed the tutorial!
See you!

This turned out great! I love the paint splatters! :)

Now these screen prints are really cool. Can you also incorporate a photo to personalize the home decor a bit more?
