Hello, it's Larissa here to show you how I colored the gorgeous flowers in Garden Party Hambly Paper and Overlay to create the colorful layout below.
Materials needed:
- Scissors
- Brush
- Tonbow Dual Brush Pens Set
- Double-sided tape
- Hambly Screenprints Garden Party Paper and Overlay
- Alcohol Inks (Ranger)
- Acrylic block
Step 1. Paint some flowers using Tonbow Pens. This water-based ink is blendable so you can blend two colors together or blend and soften colors with the colorless blender pen for a beautiful shadowing.and delicate finish. There is not rule for painting, taking the use of creativity into account. However, it is possible to use some techniques, always thinking in reinforcing light and shadow on the work. Besides, the choice of two or three tones, a light one, a medium and a dark, is also the base of our painting. You could prefer the interior of the drawing with the lightest color to trace the corners and after with the medium tone, to fill it with layers of paint in a way to hide the tracing, fading the shadowing. Or you could prefer to start with the dark tones on the borders or dark areas of the drawing and make the inverse work. You could also prefer using a block of acrylic and a brush to mix the colors before adding them to the work.
Practice and find out the way you prefer!Step 2. Hand cut approximately 15 flowers in a variety of forms.
Step 3. Adhere the flowers to your layout and add some hand cut flowers taken from your Garden Party overlay to get more contrast.
Step 4. You can also paint the flowers in the overlay using alcohol inks. Just use a thin brush and the acrylic block.
That's it! Hope you've enjoyed the tutorial!

Very cool! Thanks for the tutorial!
