Super simple easy CD sleeve
Hi, it's Amy and I'm here to show you a super easy gift for your Mister (or anyone else on your list). We're really into hand made gifts or giving vacations as gifts (trying to not accumulate as much "stuff") and I thought a "merry mix" CD would be a great idea. I chose my favorites from this season and burned him a CD. As a cool cover though, I thought it would be fun to make a sleeve using Hambly transparencies. It takes only a few minutes to do.
Supplies:
- 1 Hambly transparency
- 1 sticker
- paper trimmer
- sewing machine
- scissors
I started off by measuring a paper sleeve and adding 1/4 inch to each side. The measurement came out to 5 5/8 inches.
Trim 2 squares of transparency measuring 5 5/8 inches on each side.
Take the pieces to your sewing machine.
Sew around 3 sides of your square (I used an allowance of 1/4 inch).
Once it's done, insert your mix and see how it looks.
You can embellish the outside more, or just simply add a sticker.
Everyone likes getting a "merry mix" of favorite songs, and now you have an easy way to package it as well.

What a totally sweet idea. Love this
