paper frames!
so here's the cool little project i finished (inspired by Danielle's project scroll to the Feb. 19th post. I just got the quickutz silhouette, last week and these frames are the first things i cut out (using the newest papers too). it cut all the intricate designs so easily, i was very impressed
.
zach and I have been fun taking pics for the wedding stuff we been planning. we found our reception site last week - the great american music hall in SF! The building is 100 yrs old, there are these great ornate balconies, and elaborate designs on the ceiling and walls, so many great artists have played there over the years. such a perfect place for our celebration!

very cool.

Wow, nice machine. I saw the frames at Danielle's blog. I wonder if this machine cuts designs from other sources, designs that we can do with Photoshop? I will have to read about it. Your decor is awesome!

i am easily confused...did you download that frame design from somewhere? or where do you get cool images to download? would like a cutter machine, but want one that you can get cool designs with, and not just cheesy angels and bunnies. does anyone hear me?

They look great, your paper frames! I'm impressed!
Posted by: Hanna | March 17, 2008 at 11:37 AM
yeah, did the design come with the quickuts silhouette, or did you design and upload them yourself or get them from somewhere else? Also, I saw one of those thing-a-ma-bobs on tv (hsn), called pazzles. expensive, but it's supposed to let you design your own stuff and then cut it out, draw it, or emboss it onto paper, thin metal, fabric, or spongy stuff. i'd really like to know about your designs. love, sarah!

LOVE the frames, what a cute idea and those paper choices were perfect! Now I want to do black and white profile silouhettes of my pets and frame them in those. Dang all I need is another craft toy.
